Being an exchange student in a completely unfamiliar environment is sometimes challenging. I often had to think about not just distance, but speed as well, questioning the sustainability of our incredibly accelerated life tempo. I have never seen such exhausted people, whose heads are nodding from sleepiness travelling the MTR after a long day of work. Everyone is busy, there is hardly time for small talk.
